From close to the city centre, take a bus or train along a coastal route to arrive at the historic fishing village of Howth
Embark on a hike of approx 4 hours duration with a variety of terrain and scenery and learn about the the fascinating history of the headland.
Choose to lunch in a local pub or bring your own packed lunch to eat al fresco to stunning views.

Important information
What to wear:
- Comfortable clothing (not cotton based, e.g. denim) suitable for the weather conditions
- Comfortable flat soled shoes with a good grip (hiking boots ideally, or trainers)

- Good quality rainwear (rain jacket essential and waterproof over-trousers preferable)
- Extra upper body base layers in cold weather
- Hat & gloves in cold weather
- Snack and drink
- Packed lunch or pocket money for lunch purchase
- Any medication or equipment as required by known medical conditions
- Small ruck-sack to carry above items - recommended
